Wall Tee 19: H. Sharp!

"I can see right through you Helen." I have recently been interested in trompe-l'œil effects in art, architecture, and urban design. The t-shirt is a collage featuring recontextualized fragments of my urban photography -- blue rain drops on one sleeve, painted sidewalk on the other, complementary collar. The main photograph is of a staircase at The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts designed by James Stirling & Michael Wilford. Their postmodern design language is extended by way of the t-shirt's title referencing a film quote. (-;
