This Spring 2022 t-shirt features an image of an experiment with watercolors and wet paper performed I believe in the fall or winter of 2021 or 2020 -- the years begin to blend together. The effect of the torn hole in the paper being transparent gives the illusion of depth -- in line with my recent explorations into trompe-l'œil effects.
